Accessibility in to the U.K. & IRELAND FILM & TV INDUSTRIES RESOURCE MAP

In August 2025, I created an Accessibility in to the UK & Ireland Film & TV Industries Resource Map. This map was born out of my realisation through working for the creative industries trade union, BECTU, that their knowledge & direct work on the ground in relation to EDI issues isn’t reflective of how they portray themselves in the media. 

Shocked, and concerned for our sector on the whole by that realisation, I wanted to create a resource that makes the process of freelancers seeking support for EDI issues, to have that process streamlined & easier to navigate. 

The map includes links to resources for; Charity Support, Industry Specific EDI Resources & Tools, Flexible Working, Education, Training & Consultation, Legal Rights & Reasonable Adjustments, Research & Development, Accessibility Focused Production Companies, Psychological Support, Talentpools, and Accessibility Representation in Screen Content.
